This is Energy Ring, the original battery indicator designed for devices with punch hole cameras. Please note that there are fake apps that you should be cautious of.

With the latest update, Energy Ring now has the ability to glow up when any app or system accesses your camera, microphone, or GPS. This feature is made possible through integration with the Access Dots app, resulting in a combination called Access Rings.

Energy Ring adds a configurable ring around your camera lens to indicate the current battery level. It offers various customization options to fit your preferences. In addition to providing battery information at a glance, Energy Ring adds a visually appealing accent to your phone's camera lens.

When your battery is fully charged, the ring will wrap around the front camera lens in a 360-degree fashion. As the battery depletes, the Energy Ring arc will decrease accordingly.

The out-of-the-box features of Energy Ring include:

• Configurable width from 1 pixel to a thicker ring
• Negligible load on CPU, as it only wakes up to reflect changes in battery level
• Customizable direction: clockwise, bidirectional, or anti-clockwise
• Ability to hide on fullscreen content (apps, videos, images, games, etc.)
• Automatic color change based on live battery level
• Possible mono-color, multiple color segments, or gradient display (pro feature)
• Option to assign any color for your preferred configuration
• Cool animations when a power source is plugged in

Now, you might be wondering about the battery consumption of Energy Ring. Rest assured that Energy Ring understands the importance of utilizing your battery efficiently. It operates silently on your screen and places almost no load on the CPU. When the battery level changes, Android wakes up Energy Ring briefly to update itself, and it goes back to sleep. Moreover, when the screen is off, the Ring enters deep sleep mode and does not read changes in battery level.

Accessibility Service Requirement:

Energy Ring needs to run as an Accessibility Service on Android in order to display on the lock screen. Please note that Energy Ring does not read or monitor any data; its purpose is to provide visual data for users who have disabilities or prefer visual representations.

No charging animation?

If you want to enable charging animations, go to Settings > Accessibility > Visibility Enhancements > Remove Animations and uncheck the box if it's checked.

Energy Ring disappearing on Xiaomi devices?

If Energy Ring disappears on Xiaomi devices, you can go to Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > Energy Ring > Turn On Autostart.

Screen burn-in:

Although we have received no complaints about screen burn-in from users of Energy Bar, the original variant of the app used on AMOLED devices for several years, we cannot guarantee that it will not occur.

Re-enable after exiting power saving mode:

If Energy Ring is disabled by the system when you enter power saving mode, you will need to restart your device to reactivate it.
